DESCRIPTION
  • Sophisticated yet playful, the knit tie occupies a special place in our wardrobe thanks to its stylistic versatility.
  • Ours was designed with these ideals in mind, and was crafted by the neckwear masters at Laboratorio Santina, just outside of Como, Italy.
  • Their team uses heritage production techniques akin to our own production team in the US, ensuring that each tie was crafted to exacting, timeless specifications.
  • Knit from high twist, 100% silk yarns, this tie features the highly-lauded "cri de la soie" texture that defines the highest standards of knit neckwear.
  • This texture creates a crunchy hand, mid-shine appearance, and ensures lasting longevity.
  • Laboratorio Santina uses heritage looms that feature a slow, meticulous circular-knit process to ensure high quality and a proper drape.
  • The circular knit shape adds structure without the need for seams, and is hand-sewn shut at either end of the tie.
  • Finishing things off is a 100% silk woven liner at the neck to aid in tying and prevent stretching.
