Natural Cypress Cap Toe 9d

Cypress is a newer tannage from Chicago's Horween Tannery, taking elements we love from their Dublin and Predator leathers. Cypress is combination tanned, with a heavy vegetable retan process. Cut at a full 6 ounces, these boots are obviously substantial, but subtleties in the tanning make for a shortened break-in time. In terms of the color, Natural Cypress is a beautiful tan, almost a mellow honey with a good amount of pull-up. This leather is tanned so that it may evolve and burnish over time, taking all the missteps and stubbed toes with grace.
