Aviator Boot Roughout

Based on a vintage US Navy Aviator’s flying boot, the August Special Chukka boot combines rugged comfort with an elegant form and profile. Bench made in Tuscany, the Chukka is Goodyear welted for flexible durability, whilst allowing full recrafting. Whilst the upper is unlined waxed horsehide suede for flexible durability, the counter is reinforced with a second layer of suede that confirms support and stability in every step. The gusset tongue helps keep the shoe centered on the foot as well as keeping debris and water out of the shoe’s interior.
