  • This year, GIZEMO presents the classic first-generation N-1 NAVY alpaca wool jacket as part of its Factory Legacy series.
  • In our view, "authentic reissue" goes beyond merely restoring the original contractor’s name or simply replacing labels.
  • It represents a more rigorous and thorough approach to restoration—not only in form but also in spirit.
  • For this authentic reissue of the first-generation N-1 NAVY, we have refined multiple details:
  • The Jungle cloth fabric has been softened, and its khaki color recalibrated to better match the original texture.
  • The cut has been optimized under the arms for greater comfort and mobility.
  • After a year of careful adjustments, the wool ribbing now strikes the perfect balance between authenticity and elasticity, recreating the distinctive textured structure of that era.
  • The zipper uses a Talon M41 aluminum tooth design identical to the original, and the label follows the authentic reissue specifications.
  • From the final product, these subtle refinements achieve just the right effect—coming close to what we consider perfection.
