- Originally released during our SS24 collaboration with Alexander Girard, Village (1945) exemplifies Girard’s prophetic design style.
- Despite being designed nearly 80 years ago, Village and its bold, graphic elements looks incredibly contemporary.
- This print was originally developed by Girard during his tenure as the Head of Fabric and Textile Division at Herman Miller as upholstery fabric, and was offered in a variety of colorways.
- To continue Girard’s emphasis of quality craftsmanship, we had Village meticulously reengineered at of our Italian partner mill on a summer-weight 100% cotton poplin.
- Each color was matched to its original Pantone and extra care was taken to ensure pigments hold fast and resist bleeding.
