DESCRIPTION
- In January 1975, Tommy Nutter held an exhibition of experimental tailoring designs at an art gallery in New York.
- The exhibition showcased all the clothes that Edward had made for friends of the photographer, David nutter, and was photographed by David in Central Park.
- The photographs were shown in The Lajeski Gallery along with each suit pictured, displayed on a mannequin.
- This showcase was a radical move for a bespoke tailor at the time; a display more closely associated with couturiers.
- It helped to cement Nutters’ identity as a design house, as well as its reputation for bespoke tailoring.
- 16X20 silver gelatine print.
- Limited run of 25 images signed by the artist.
- Images are available unframed or framed and mounted.
