DESCRIPTION
  • In January 1975, Nutter’s of Savile Row held an exhibition of avant-garde tailoring designs at the Lajeski Gallery in New York.
  • The exhibits were primarily suits that Edward had cut for David Nutter’s circle of close friends, each of whom David photographed in a Nutter’s suit expressly for the exhibition.
  • This three-piece suit is typical of the period, with a low-fastening double-breasted cut, dramatic up-swept shoulders and very generous lapels.
  • The grosgrain edge tape on the jacket also became a Nutter’s of Savile Row signature that Edward Sexton still offers clients today.
  • 16X20 silver gelatine print.
  • Limited run of 25 images signed by the artist.
  • Images are available unframed or framed and mounted.
