Low Gauge Moku Foxfibre® Socks - Coyote 80 Iron Mordant

Our Low Gauge Moku Socks are knit thick and chunky for a cozy, cushioned feel, using a twisted yarn that highlights Foxfibre®, a naturally colored, organically grown cotton. We start with Foxfibre® and apply a traditional iron mordant treatment, soaking the fibers in an iron-rich solution that reacts with the cotton’s natural pigments to deepen and darken the tone. This process enriches the brown shade into a more earthy, dimensional color, still achieved entirely without dyes. Once treated, the fiber is blended at 80% Foxfibre® and 20% extra-long-staple organic cotton for added softness and breathability. The yarn is then twisted together with white cotton to create a two-tone twisted look that adds visual texture and contrast.
