Oliva Casentino Wool Chore Coat

This chore coat is made from a hefty Casentino Wool in a verdant shade of olive. The fabric is sourced in Italy and characterized by the curls and wisps that give this fabric its amazing texture. Casentino wool is naturally temperature regulating and water resistant. Design features include a French workwear inspired collar, double button cuffs and a locker loop. The four outer pockets are 'Barchetta' style, which means that the hand-sewn top hem gently slopes like the bow of a little boat. The pockets are sewn on floating - the inlaid topstitch gives them a three dimensional look. There is also an inner right chest pocket for stashing valuables, with a visible stitch reminiscent of classic French coats. The sleeves are cut wide to accommodate layering, with an adjustable double button cuff (tighter for a more shirt-like fit, looser for a more jacket-like fit). The back features a locker loop for hanging by the door. Finished with brown matte horn buttons, each hand-sewn with a crow foot stitch. Limited run of 8 pieces.
