Brushed Canvas Chore Coat

This chore coat is made from a soft yet sturdy brushed cotton canvas in a navy blue. The collar and inner cuffs are a smokey blue, velvety soft wide wale corduroy from England. Design features include a French workwear inspired collar, double button cuffs and a locker loop. The four outer pockets are 'Barchetta' style, which means that the hand-finished top hems gently slope like the bow of a little boat. The pockets are sewn on floating - the inlaid topstitch gives them a three dimensional look. There is an inner right chest pocket for stashing valuables, with a visible stitch reminiscent of classic French coats. The sleeves are cut wide to accommodate layering, with an adjustable double button cuff (tighter for a more shirt-like fit, looser for a more jacket-like fit). The back features a locker loop for hanging by the door.
