Paraboot Malibu Derby Shoe
This Derby Shoe is made with Blake stitching, also known as through-and-through stitching. It was in 1858 that shoemaker Leeman Reed Blake, a young employee of sewing machine manufacturer Singer, invented this technique, which adds flexibility and lightness to the shoe. Paraboot makes its shoes in Spain, utilizing local craftsmen and traditional techniques. It’s a 4th-generation business founded in France by Rémy Richard. The name is a mashup of “Para” (the port they sourced their latex from) and the American “boot” that inspired Rémy early on. Blake Stitching Unlined Natural Rubber Sole UK Sizing Style 92451
