Hand-lasted and welted by hand, it features our signature "swallow bird" burgundy shank sole, which is sewn by hand with a traditional Duer machine. Back in the 1930s, the pay phone in the phone booth cost a paltry two cents. The new loafer design allowed just enough space for a penny in each shoe, equaling the cost of an emergency phone call... Part of our Classica Collection, these shoes come with individual wool dust bags, lasted wooden shoe trees and our leather maintenance kit with wax and small brush, all in a beautiful wooden box for proper storage. The chisel is mild and gentle in the Essenziale and Classica line while in is enhanced by the sharp construction of the Tradizione line.
