The field pants are where a pair of work pants meet jeans. One of our favorite four-season fabrics, which is why we call it AP for All-Purpose. Each pair has been garment-dyed to a dusty shade of blue reminiscent of a pigeon's feathers, which gives the color a slightly lived-in, variegated quality from the get-go.
