Button Down Sport Shirt In Pink University Stripe Oxford
It's hard to come up with something more classic than an OCBD. Ours is made of beefy, American-style oxford cloth — from Portugal; go figure — in a traditional university stripe. It's got a soft, nonfused button-down collar with just the right amount of “bloom,” plus an extra button at the back of the collar, which is an old-school detail originally designed to keep your tie in place. (We just like the way it looks.) The cut is slim but never skinny, with a high armhole for mobility and a shirttail long enough to stay tucked in. (Sid likes it this way, but it's easy to shorten if you prefer.) It's made with single-needle stitching, 22 stitches/inch, flat-felled seams, and thick, 3.5mm Trocas shell buttons.
