About this leather: Our naked cowhide leather is a premium top grain cowhide that combines comfort and durability. The leather boasts a naturally tight open pore structure that ensures a softer touch and superior comfort. Its weight and warmth are on par with deluxe heavy steerhide. The full aniline, drum dyed process preserves the leather’s texture, enhancing its natural grain with a subtle, semi-matte finish. It is then vacuum dried (instead of toggle dried) that leads to a slightly stiffer result as the fibers are not stretched and softened.
