15.5oz Selvedge Denim
Cut from a premium 15.5oz Japanese Selvedge Denim woven on traditional shuttle looms in Japan.
While our 21oz Selvedge Jeans were built around heavy slub texture and rugged character, our 15.5oz selvedge takes a more refined approach — featuring a cleaner face, tighter weave, and more uniform surface that highlights the silhouette of the jean itself.
The result is a denim that feels substantial and structured from day one, but with a smoother hand and more classic appearance than our 21oz counterpart.
The deep indigo dye and dense weave create a rich, inky finish that will gradually soften and reveal beautiful vintage-inspired fades with wear.
Timeless, structured, and built to age gracefully — this is our interpretation of classic Japanese selvedge denim.

We intentionally left these jeans raw, unwashed, and untreated to allow the denim to fade naturally with wear.
Because of this, the indigo dye will transfer during the initial break-in period.
While this 15.5oz Japanese Selvedge Denim bleeds significantly less than our 21oz Selvedge Denim, some dye transfer is still normal during the first few weeks of wear.
We recommend avoiding white or light-colored tops, footwear, furniture, and accessories until the excess surface dye begins to settle.
We didn't wash these jeans, and neither should you (for a few months).
The longer you wait, the more personalized and rewarding the fade pattern will become.
