Baalti Shorts

The stitch on this came from something we originally developed for a Baalti album cover. Our friends asked us to embroider a cover for them, on a still image. It had a certain rhythm to it that we wanted to bring into clothing. Here it’s worked onto a handloom linen herringbone, keeping that same repetition but softening it through the fabric. Fabric has a light and bouncy hand. The shorts have welt pockets and a double pleat detail. Finished with horn buttons. True to size. Model is 6'1 and wears a 30.
