The semi-wide collar “Paris Model,” evocative of European elegance, is combined with refined, connoisseur-level details to create a shirt with a truly distinctive and elevated presence. What is GIZA96? A variety of Egyptian cotton, often referred to as one of the world’s three finest cottons. Among the Giza cottons—numbered in the order of their development—GIZA96 is the newest extra-long-staple variety. Naturally rich in oils, it offers a silky luster and exceptionally smooth hand feel. About the Production Area Woven in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading cotton-textile regions. Thanks to its rich natural environment and skilled craftsmanship, the fabric achieves both immediate suppleness when worn and a beautiful, fluid drape. Fabric Made from 100s two-ply broadcloth (poplin), woven at an ideal balance of 144 warp threads × 76 weft threads. Uses the traditional yarn-dyed method, a hallmark of fabrics historically known as Banshu-ori, named after the former Harima region during the Meiji era. Unlike piece-dyed fabrics, yarn-dyed weaving requires more time and cost, but results in subtle color depth, refined patterns, and a richer visual expression. Design Features the semi-wide “Paris Model” collar, imbued with European esprit. Precisely calculated collar spread allows a tie knot to sit beautifully and naturally. Styling Business Style:Pair with a navy or charcoal gray suit and finish with a solid silk tie or a small-pattern tie for a classic, refined business look. Formal & Ceremonial:Matched with a dark suit, it maintains elegance at weddings and parties. The supple texture of GIZA96 enhances the overall sophistication of the ensemble.
