Textured Boatbuilder Jacket

A brand new yarn composition for Autumn/Winter 2025 is our blend of superfine Merino and Linen. The linen serves to make the garment more airy and breathable and creates a beautifully nuanced colour-shading effect as the Linen strands catch the light differently to the Merino. It also creates a depth of feel and texture with little bursts of crispness scattering amongst the Merino softness. The Boatbuilder Jacket has long been a core element of our Workwear Series, inspired by the islander polymaths that had to be self-sufficient and learn a broad range of skills given their geographical isolation. Complete with pockets for tools, a strong 1 x 1 rib throughout for longevity during physical work and a nehru stand collar to keep out the draughts. This elevated version in Merino and Linen is equally at home in the workshop or at the architect’s desk. Available in classic Rust Marl, a combination of richly dark terracotta shades. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Island's workshop.
