On the island, an Aran scarf or stole is traditionally used for a christening or wedding. Inis Meáin's signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. European Masters of Linen quality guarantees European linen of the highest standard and traceability from field to yarn. This garment is created in an unwashed linen quality to maintain a crisp linen touch. This means it must not be washed. Measures 33cm x 172cm. Available in a beautiful selection of nuanced mélange colours inspired by the island landscape: Navy Marl, Pink Marl, Green Marl, Silver Marl and Grey Marl. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
