Cashmere Patented Aran Sweater

Our much-loved Patented Aran Sweater in our beautifully soft Cashmere and Merino blended yarn. On the Island, Aran patterns were passed down within families with pride. Inis Meáin's signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. Unique to Inis Meáin, the intricate composition of this fine cable knit pattern creates a tailored, classic look reminiscent of the strong twists of the Island fishing ropes. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. Newly available in Brown/Navy Mix, a deep blend of dark chocolate and navy; Red Fleck, a rich crimson with subtle flecks in mustard and orange tones, and Blue Mix, an aqua blue blended with muted shades of grey and white flecks. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop. An Aran Sweater made in the only knitwear factory in the Aran Islands - a true Aran from Aran.
