Relaxed contemporary elegance and lightweight, all-day warmth combine in our Bréidín Cashmere Sweater, named in honour of its Island inspiration. Bréidín is the Irish word for tweed, and a century ago handmade tweed vests were a staple of the local tailor. The Bréidín stitch creates a wonderful lofty texture giving warmth without weight, while offering distinctive colour and stitch interest emulating the subtle nuances of tweed fabrics. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. Available in Navy Mix, a creatively complex colour-way involving dark navy and a rainbow of multi-coloured flecks, Teal Mix, a warm petrol shade with beautiful compliments of aquamarine and white flecks, and Khaki Mix, a very unique and wearable blend of olive, mustard and grey tones, with highlight flecks running throughout. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
