Caoladoir Sweater

The Caoladóir or Basketweaver Sweater is inspired by the tradition of basketmaking on the islands. Baskets were used extensively throughout island life, particularly for farming and fishing activities. This lightweight sweater features a geometrical basketweave stitch throughout, creating distinctive stitch interest. This neat sweater features a sleek saddle shoulder and ribbed trims. Crafted in our brand new yarn composition of Cashmere and Cotton made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. Available in Green, a vibrant shade reflecting the rich Inis Meáin landscape. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
