T167 Gurkha Trouser Military
Description Aussie Army Trousers - 1967 Re imagined A couple of years ago we found an old pair of Australian Army Trousers dated 1967, which were sewn just a stone's throw from our Coburg workshop. That connection to local history inspired us to re imagine the design with care - staying true to the original while refining the fit, proportions, and details for modern wear. Our interpretation of the original Aussie Army Ghurka Pants strikes a balance between milsurp and modern tailoring. The waistband height has been slightly reduced, the belt given a more refined form, and the cargo pocket redesigned for practicality without adding bulk or disturbing the clean leg line. The cut has been rebuilt from the ground up, creating an elegant shape through the seat and leg. Cut from a 1950's reproduction cotton sateen similar to the original vintage cloth, the fabric has substantial yet luxurious feel and will develop beautiful texture and fade over time. Made in Melbourne in collaboration between two local workshops.
