It is half-lined and has a button security pocket on the inside. It can be worn separately or as part of a three-piece suit. Woven with a special stitch effect known as Sashiko or 'rice grain', this Japanese fabric has the appearance of a handcrafted, vintage find. The loosely spun yarns mean the fabric is very soft and it is dyed with real indigo which gives a depth of colour that looks even better as the garment ages.
