B-11 FLYING JACKET/ FACTORY LEGACY This year, GIZEMO presents the classic World War II-era B-11 flight jacket as part of its Factory Legacy series. To us, "authentic reissue" means more than restoring the original contractor's name or simply changing a label—it represents a more rigorous and thorough approach, pursuing not only form but also spirit. For this authentic reissue of the B-11, we have refined multiple details: the sateen fabric has been softened, and the olive green shade recalibrated to match the original wartime texture. The zipper uses an original-style brass CONMAR—the distinctive No. 5 CONMAR shape—while the arm insignia has been omitted. The pocket fabric has been custom-woven to replicate the original construction. From the current sample, these subtle adjustments achieve just the right balance, nearing the perfection we envision.
