British Hopsack Simple Jacket
One part refined, one part casual, our Simple Jacket reinterprets the understated elegance of the 1960s sack suit with tasteful GV updates. Unlined, unstructured, and cut to wear as an everyday piece, the Simple Jacket was designed to move with you, wherever you take it. Patch pockets, a notch lapel, and horn buttons maintain a sense of heritage pedigree all the while. Our British Hopsack Simple Jacket builds on the foundation of our original USA-woven hopsack, offering a more elevated interpretation of a familiar favorite. Woven in the UK by the esteemed Marling & Evans mill, the fabric is crafted from 100% worsted wool sourced from British sheep, bringing a heightened level of heritage refinement to our Simple Jacket silhouette. Defined by nuance rather than overt detail, this particular hopsack is softer, more breathable, and woven with a finer structure that enhances its comfort and drape. Rendered in a deep midnight navy, it offers a more formal, polished presence that pairs naturally with tailored trousers, while remaining equally at ease in more casual settings. Like all of our Simple Jackets, this style was cut and sewn at our factory in Rochester, NY.
