(Some sizes also available at Withered Fig) The W17 Copperhead Akasabi is constructed from a 17oz selvedge denim featuring a dark indigo warp paired with a copper-toned sulfur-dyed weft. The face of the fabric feels smooth and almost silky, but the heavyweight yarns provide structure that holds its shape and breaks in gradually over time. The name Akasabi (赤錆), meaning red rust, refers to the oxidized copper tone of the weft. As the indigo warp yarns fades, these warm rust hues begin to surface, producing golden highlights rather than stark white contrast. The result is a fade profile that feels natural, dimensional, and grounded in vintage workwear tradition. This denim was selected for wearers who value depth over flash — a cloth that develops character slowly, rewards patience, and grows more nuanced with time. We guarantee the fit to within 0.25" on a flat lay basis for each specification. RETURN & EXCHANGE Ready to wear sizes must be returned or exchanged within 30 days of date of purchase in new condition.
