DESCRIPTION
  • Originally conceived in 1947 for the architect Le Corbusier, the Forestière jacket takes its cues from the traditional French gamekeeper’s coat.
  • With its distinctive mandarin collar and utilitarian pockets, it has long been a favourite of the Left Bank intelligentsia and the free-thinking bobo set, prized for its balance of function and understated elegance.
  • Our version is cut from an 12oz Italian canapa fabric.
  • Faithful to the spirit of the original, we have refined the silhouette for a cleaner, more contemporary line, while retaining the jacket’s practical detailing: three generous patch-and-flap pockets, two internal pockets, and adjustable cuffs.
