In line with the original version, our rugby shawl sweater features a shawl collar, providing comfort around the neck, a shorter body (which would have allowed for higher rise breeches that athletes would wear as bottoms, or in your case, higher rise jeans and trousers), and a boxier cut and wider shoulders for ease of movement and comfort. The ribbed cuffs and hem are chunky and knitted slightly longer, just like the original version. The longer ribbed cuffs can be turned back for a retro sporty look. It is made with 100% superfine lambswool from Todd & Duncan's prestigious Lamaine collection, making this piece sumptuously thick, sturdy and extremely warm whilst being soft to the touch, thanks to it being the world's softest lambswool.
