Blue Mogganer Pennan Fairisle Sweater - Pineshadow Green

All our Blue Mogganer Fair isles are named after our local Fishing towns in North East Scotland. This one after the beautiful seaside town of Pennan. It has been often rumoured that historically, fisherman along our coast and from the Shetland and Fair Isles, wore these patterns because each town had particular patterns to identify the origin of the sailor in any wrecking tragedies, which were much more common at the time. Because of the allover patterning of our allover fairisle’s like this one, it is not possible to knit with our seam free technology so this item is fully fashioned (knitted in parts and sewn together).
