Jeweled Ivy Trousers

These trousers are inspired by a beaded and embroidered clutch purse, circa 1940s. We have replicated the original embellishments along the waistband and hem of the trousers. The embroidery is worked in gold bullion thread, which is couched—secured with short perpendicular stitches—in swirling patterns onto the fabric.
