Jeweled Ivy Jacket

This jacket is inspired by a beaded and embroidered clutch purse, circa 1940s. We have replicated the original embellishments along the collar, pockets, and hem of this jacket. The embroidery is worked in gold bullion thread, which is couched—secured with short perpendicular stitches—in swirling patterns onto the fabric.
