Natural Dyed Patchwork Madras Shirt

Special things deserve more. This shirt started as multiple custom-made Madras plaid fabric swatches, woven in Chennai and cut and sewn together into a beautiful patchwork cloth. We took it a step further: having it dyed with natural materials by our partner factory, Green Matters Natural Dye Company of Lancaster, PA. The result is a fabric with depth you don’t get from shortcuts. Madras that already develops its own unique character over time, with a natural dyed finish that makes it take on a new life. Cut in a boxy silhouette inspired by mid-century summer shirting with a straight hem, locker loop, and clean French finishing throughout.
