Mcover Ecru Shibori Shirt

Ungendered, elegant and comfortable shirt, featuring darts at the elbows, made with 40s-count handspun and handwoven fabric. The garment is enhanced with meticulous shadow shibori technique featuring fine line artwork. Handmade in 100% Cotton. Shibori is a tie-dye technique that uses running-stitches as a way to resist the design. In this piece, only the resist area has been dyed in natural Indigo. Yarn handspun on a multi-spindle charkha, and woven on a handloom, is also called ‘Khadi’. The fabric is handwoven on a pit loom in Bengal. Ecru is the natural colour of the unbleached, undyed cotton fabric. - 28.5 inches / 72 cms is the length of the garment.
