Burnt Umber Shorts With Drawstring

Ungendered comfort-fit shorts, cut and shaped into a relaxed silhouette, cinched at the waist using a drawstring. These adjustable shorts in 40s-count handspun cotton feature a variety of cotton and silk reclaimed patches. Handmade in 100% cotton. The yarn handspun on a multi-spindle charkha, and woven on a handloom, is also called ‘khadi’. The fabric is handwoven on a pit loom in Bengal. As part of our zero-waste design principle, after each garment is cut and stitched, we collect all the leftover scraps for our reclaimed collection. Burnt Umber is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape, including Rubia, rust, and harda solution. Inseam: 6 inches / 15 cm, Outseam: 17 inches / 43 cm length of the garment.
