Ash Shorts With Drawstring

Ungendered comfort-fit shorts, cut and shaped into a relaxed silhouette, cinched at the waist using a drawstring. These adjustable shorts in 40s-count handspun cotton are elevated with bias piping detail created from reclaimed silk. Handmade in 100% cotton. The yarn handspun on a multi-spindle charkha, and woven on a handloom, is also called ‘khadi’. The fabric is handwoven on a pit loom in Bengal. As part of our zero-waste design principle, after each garment is cut and stitched, we collect all the leftover scraps for our reclaimed collection. Ash Indigo colour is achieved using ferrous and tamarind seed solution with natural 100% fructose-fermented Indigo. Inseam: 6 inches / 15 cm, Outseam: 17 inches / 43 cm length of the garment.
