Heavyweight Pinpoint Canvas Barn Jacket

DESCRIPTION
  • This heavyweight cotton tickweave "canvas" is a fabric we've been wanting to develop for a long time.
  • Part of the beauty of Wythe is being able to bring some of these fabrics back to life that have since been lost to time.
  • It's based on a fabric used from the 1930s through the early 1950s across a couple of different workwear brands.
  • This was during the time when you'd see a lot of denim-alternative-but-still-workwear fabric being introduced.
  • It's a surprisingly soft fabric for how durable it is, but still has the ability to break in with wear.
  • We made this up in an updated version of our barn jacket, which seemed fitting as a nod to the coveralls and overalls this farbic was originally used on.
  • This version of the barn jacket comes complete with evergreen bartacks and buttonholes, triple needle construction, our diamond shanks and aged steer head snaps, and now with modified shirt-like cuffs.
  • Two chest pockets; one with snap-flap closure and one open patch with pen pocket
  • Two acorn waist pockets
  • Aged steer head snap on chest pocket
  • Diamond shank buttons
  • Evergreen bartacks and buttonholes
  • Triple needle seam construction
