The ranch jacket is one of our favorite creations.
We took cues from vintage Type I and Type II jackets, along with details from other vintage jackets in our archive, and came up with something that felt very unique to us.
The Ranch Jacket has seen many different iterations, fits, and factories over the years.
But being such an integral part of our brand, we finally landed on a level of consistency in the Ranch Jacket across all fabrications.
This particular bedford cord is just what we were looking for in a workwear staple.
It's woven on vintage selvedge loom by a Japanese mill that specializes in weaving this fabric, exactly like it used to be
made in the 40s and 50s.
It's one of the only fabrics this mill produces.
One of the amazing things about bedford cord is how hard wearing it is on the outside, but how soft and stretchy it is on the inside.
It breaks in and molds to your body like raw denim, and is easy to see why this was a favored fabric for workwear.
