• Their tannery in Wisconsin takes the bison hides, and through a proprietary tanning process that hinges on shrinking, we get this deeply textured leather.
• Rich in pull up, Law's process makes for both the beauty and comfort we seek in the leathers we work with.
• In terms of color, Bog Shrunken Bison is a murky olive in the darker areas where the hides have been hand-tipped, and more of a lighter old brass color in the textural lines that almost feel like tectonic plates.
• These exceptional hides embrace a rich variability.
• Like ramblers, kudu and horse rump we've run before, the boots will be one of a kind, with fluctuating texture size from pair to pair.
• Our skilled cutter specifically cuts each pair together, so that while the boots may vary within a run, each individual pair is beautifully matched.
