  • Built on the legendary 4497s last—the traditional foundation of our classic country boots—it provides a generous and highly secure fit.
  • This construction yields a spacious toe box, an accommodating fit across the vamp, and excellent support through the waist, delivering boot-like stability in a versatile shoe silhouette.
  • Black Hydro Nubuck: Matte Resilience Hydro Nubuck is a premium calf skin that has been expertly buffed to create a soft, tactile surface, then specially treated during the tanning process for maximum longevity.
  • Water-Repellent Finish: The specialised "Hydro" treatment ensures that moisture beads straight off the surface, making this textured leather incredibly practical and highly stain-resistant during wet weather.
  • Deep Ink-Black Aesthetic: The fine, velvety nap of the nubuck absorbs light completely, resulting in a dense, uniform black tone that brings a sharp, contemporary edge to a heritage design.
  • Full Leather Lining: Lined entirely with soft, breathable natural calf leather to establish an ideal internal climate and promote superb structural integrity over years of service.
  • Technical Build: The Stealthy Foundation Engineered to withstand the elements while maintaining a balanced, lightweight look.
  • Dainite Rubber Sole: Grounded by a British-made Dainite sole, offering excellent traction, grip, and durability across wet pavements without adding unnecessary bulk.

  • Goodyear Welted: Fully Goodyear welted in our Northampton factory to create a completely watertight seal between the upper and sole, ensuring the shoe can be completely resoled and refurbished for decades.
