DESCRIPTION
  • Brown chukka boot in French suede.
  • Chukka was likely first worn in India by off-duty soldiers.
  • Eventually, British Army soldiers wore a similar boot during the Western Desert Campaign of WWII.
  • The Chukka made its way back west because of Nathan Clark, who served in the war and brought the shoe back to his family to recreate.
  • The Classica Collection is our first and still most popular line.
  • Hand-lasted and welted by hand, it features our signature "swallow bird" burgundy shank sole, which is sewn by hand with a traditional Duer machine.
  • Part of our Classica Collection, these shoes come with individual wool dust bags, lasted wooden shoe trees and our leather maintenance kit with suede brush and spare laces, all in a beautiful wooden box for proper storage.

  • The JS last elegantly and sensually enhances the curve of the instep towards the ball line.
  • It features an elongated nose with soft square shape, elevated instep, generous ball line (close to an E) and slim toe box, all working together to give this last a contemporary look without diminishing its elegance.
