• One less thing to worry about.) The solaro fabric for this pair is one of those IYKYK things: a cult textile inspired by turn-of-the-century Western colonists in the tropics.
• It turns out that the native tribes there didn't really wear clothes with red linings to protect their skin from the sun — that's a myth — but it's a myth that yielded a pretty cool cloth.
• The warp yarns are red, which gives it an iridescent, chameleon-like finish, especially in the sun.
