• This selvedge in particular comes from Italy, where it's woven on traditional shuttle looms at one of our favorite mills with a rich history of denim production.
• The undyed fabric retains small flecks of cotton seed throughout, giving it a subtly textured, organic look that sets it apart from traditional indigo denim.
• Like all selvedge, the slower weaving process creates a fabric with a more personal, relaxed hand.
• If you're new to selvedge, don't be put off by the initial stiffness — it'll soften up over time, leaving you with a jacket that molds organically to your wear patterns.
