  • Although originally not tie fabrics, the ancient capital of Japan has a long tradition and expertise in weaving silks for kimonos.
  • Our supplier Stile Kyoto has specialized since decades in luxurious tie fabrics.
  • Known for their precision and high level craftsmanship, they make the perfect supplier for Shibumi.
  • The hand is softer than our common repp silk, however the weave is still rich and not flimsy at all.
  • This leads to a very elegant drape and a tie knot, that dimples very easily.
  • The colors are vibrant and have a wonderful depth - these repps are as good as it gets.
