  • Made from the original Russell Bird Shooter patterns, the Backcountry's lineage is that of the most accomplished boot in American history.
  • Wiley Post became the first person to fly to the stratosphere in a pair and Earl Shaffer wore his for over 2000 miles, becoming the first man to complete the Appalachian Trail.
  • Both of these pairs are now housed by the Smithsonian Museum.
  • Lightweight, highly water resistant, and extremely durable, the Backcountry is the boot we recommend as a customer's first pair.

  • Exchanges are limited to 1 per order and the production timeline for the second pair will be 12-16 weeks.
