  • The new walker blanket embodies the commitment to prevent micro plastics by using a 100% natural wool fabric and local tailoring
  • The walker is woven like a knit and felted like a Loden, creating a uniquely balanced fabric that does not wrinkle, and remains extremely lightweight while protecting and regulating body temperature.
  • The first instances of this garment were discovered in official sales documents dating back to the Middle Ages, when a local Austrian craftsman started producing this special wool fabric.
  • The Walker became an iconic garment, presenting extremely modern features to this day.
  • The traditional flowers were historically used to adorn alpine costumes, and were worn by men only.
  • Each village has its own representative flower.
  • Today Rier offers flower embroidered items made to suit everyone, freely.
