- A true icon of the 1980s, the Argyle pattern is rooted in Scottish heritage, originally derived from the tartan of Clan Campbell of Argyll in western Scotland.
- In the 1920s, Pringle pioneered the intarsia knitting technique used to craft this distinctive design, a hallmark of the brand ever since.
