DESCRIPTION
  • Rugged, warm, and windproof—our heavyweight flannel shirts are a staple of every Iron Heart fall/winter collection.
  • This season, we’re introducing the new “Rider’s” cut, designed with heavy-duty hardware and a roomier, boxy fit for heavy layering.
  • Built for the open road, features include a two-way zipper beneath a snap-fastened over-placket for enhanced wind resistance, large secure chest pockets, and heavy-duty copper snaps throughout—offering motorcyclists the warmth and comfort of a flannel, with the functionality of a jacket.
  • In our efforts to explore more sustainable alternatives to the Aspero cotton used for our traditional ultra heavy flannel (UHF) shirts, this model is cut from a new 10oz Japanese heavyweight flannel.
  • Softer and slightly lighter than its Aspero counterparts, we’ve heavily brushed the reverse of the fabric to increase thickness and improve heat retention.
  • While the 10oz weave means we’re not classing this as a UHF shirt, weight isn’t everything—this fabric still delivers the warmth, comfort and rugged characteristics that our heavyweight winter flannels are renowned for.
