DESCRIPTION
  • The Caoladóir or Basketweaver Sweater is inspired by the tradition of basketmaking on the islands.
  • Baskets were used extensively throughout island life, particularly for farming and fishing activities.
  • This lightweight sweater features a geometrical basketweave stitch throughout, creating distinctive stitch interest.
  • This neat sweater features a sleek saddle shoulder and ribbed trims.
  • Crafted in our brand new yarn composition of Cashmere and Cotton made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.
  • Available in Green, a vibrant shade reflecting the rich Inis Meáin landscape.
  • Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
